Storage instructions must come from the specification for the exact peptide product. General advice can support good handling, but it cannot replace product-specific data.
Main risk variables
Moisture, heat, light, oxygen exposure and repeated opening can affect sensitive powder systems. Container barrier and closure integrity are part of the storage strategy.
Warehouse and sampling controls
Record receipt condition, lot number and storage location. Use clean, dry sampling practices and limit the time containers remain open. Follow any cold-chain requirement stated by the supplier.
After reconstitution
Reconstituted stability is a separate question from dry-powder shelf life. Solvent, concentration, pH, preservative system, packaging and temperature must be evaluated for the actual formulation.
Buyer checklist
- Follow the product specification
- Monitor required temperature conditions
- Protect from humidity and light
- Control opening and sampling
- Do not assume dry and reconstituted shelf life are the same
